Weeks. Workshops integrate elements of drama, music, art, and movement
and can be based around a subject of your choice. The main aim of an
Artburst workshop is to engage every participant in the creative process
which results in the end product.
Aims & Objectives
- To increase confidence and self empowerment through creativity
- To introduce participants to an array of craft techniques and skills
- To engage participants in classic literature through interactive storytelling, art and drama
- To work as a team on a communal piece of work be it a performance or artwork
- To improve coordination, physical awareness and listening skills
- To develop participants interest of curricular subjects by using a creative approach
- To introduce participants to other cultures and beliefs
- To develop speech and communication skills through performance
- To combine the art mediums with the participants ideas
- To enable students to explore and express their emotions through drama, music art and movement in a safe environment
