Not only did they organise fantastic activities, which included drama, music and art, they also brought all of the resources – including paint brushes and palettes! The children had a great time and have produced a huge (12ft) totem pole, which parents and visitors to the school admire. Artburst are an enthusiastic team and we were very impressed with what we saw – we will definitely be using them again. Thanks Artburst for a great experience and we look forward to seeing you in the future.”

Schools

Artburst delivers workshops in schools. Choose an alternative approach to the curriculum in the form of a Play in a Day workshop, Sculpt your School project (ideal for Arts Weeks, see Recyclatron pictured above) or from one of our Artburst Minis workshops, ideal for Early Years. Artburst has a wide range of pre-planned workshops based around popular children’s books, or we can design a workshop especially for your school.

“The Artburst workshops were fun, entertaining and geared towards the children’s level.  The artist captured the children’s interest right from the start and they especially loved listening to the animated stories! The children were engaged in the activities at all times and enjoyed every minute. The children’s performances at the end were brilliant and were a fantastic way to show off their pieces of art.”
Tessa Byrne, Teacher
Smithy Street Primary School, Tower Hamlets, London

“Artburst co-ordinated the week magnificently and created a wonderful inclusive working atmosphere between all concerned…They fully understood the needs of our pupils and worked to ensure that all of the activities were appropriate to the needs and aptitudes of our students while maintaining challenging work for our mainstream partners…Most importantly for those of us working in the special needs areas, Artburst proved that they could make the process of art as important and as valuable as the product.”
Derek Lyseight-Jones, Head of Education
Penhurst School, Oxfordshire
